Managed Google Play

If you want to remotely install apps, then you can set up Managed Google Play on your Android smartphone.

Configure managed Google play so that you can install apps on your device using the MDM. This will allow you to force app configurations and prevent uninstall while also preventing certain apps from being installed.

Navigate to App Repository > Managed Google Play

Select Google account unless you have a Google Workspace account. You might have a workspace account if you followed the Chromebook mobile devices management guide.

Select Configure Now and register with a Google account that isn't already connected to your Google Play store. You might need to make a new Google account specifically used for this.
