How Do I Prevent an App From Being Installed?

Andoff only let's you restrict whether apps can be installed generally. You can't block specific apps.

You can set the Protect against app installation setting to Smart Mode. This will detect when new apps are downloaded and block them automatically. You'll have to unlock your settings in order to allow the app later.

Why Don't Apps Update When I Prevent App Installation?

If you set Protect against app installation to Solid Mode, new apps and app updates can't be installed onto your device. This will prevent app updates as well.

Set Protect against app installation to Smart Mode to allow updates instead. You will still be allowed to install apps, but Andoff should automatically block them as soon as they are installed.
